The Precision Locator Tag transmits its ID five times a second. During an alert condition, the alerting Duress Device finds all nearby Precision Locator Tags and transmits their IDs and signal strength information to the GUARD1 server.
GUARD1 determines which Precision Locator Tag is closest to the Duress Device and provides that information with the alert details to your Control Room staff.
Power is provided from a CR123A battery, with 8+ year battery life. The device can also be powered via 5 to 24 VDC (to order without battery use DURESS-PLT-NB).
