Receivers acquire the transmissions from tags and forward them to the Guard1 server.
This Receiver can be mounted covertly in a suspended ceiling, if available in your facility, or used in areas where abuse is not a concern.

Proper location of the receivers is a very important part of your Guard1 implementation. Our Professional Services team will work with you to determine the best location for your receivers.
Receivers connect via Ethernet to the Guard1 network. For tracking a large number of people or objects, we recommend a separate network due to the large amount of data the system generates. All receivers use Power over Ethernet, which eliminates the need for a separate power cable.
